Geocache Description:

The cypher has been changed the bable fish had introdiuced a corruption and after a bit of a panic the sourece of the error was isolated and what had became a virtually impossible code to crack has become a only a nearly impossible code to crack.

I hope I don't need to panic again.

The cache is within 2 miles.

A bit of a puzzle that will need solving before you set out though it is possible to solve with a pencil and paper.

A Regular 900ml clip top box.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

The Listing coordinates are not in the right place, I searched here for something that was not there if you look here you will be looking for something that is not there.

Inspired by the radio series and books this series never quite knows how many there are, so there will be more than a trilogy and some will be hard to understand. An infinite improbability drive should not be required. The Series of caches is along the River Cole linking the Cole Challenge with the Urban Meets Rural Series. When setting out the caches I have seen many different birds including a green woodpecker, a heron and a kingfisher; surprising given we are well inside the city.

They can be done individually or as a series. There are no codes to note down for a bonus cache.

Most of the tracks are fairly mud free and are actually tarmaced. Most are fairly easy terrain and should be accessible to buggies and bikes though Zarniwoop and Krikit would require lifting over/up/down steps. There are no stiles on the route and frequent stops for refuelling or relief opportunities.

There are plenty of other caches either along the route or small detours away. As the series is a linier route a possible return route along the roads collecting caches could be done I will leave it up to you to plot a route. A possible starting point would be Sarehole Mill (the car park is waymarked), if you go north and then come back south Hobbit Hide is well worth the effort. Alternatively, the North end of the series is fairly close to Small Heath Station, with Yardley Wood Station near the other end if you don’t fancy retracing your steps. The walk there and back is about 6 miles.

There are several roads to cross the more major ones have crossings but Brook Lane does not so take extra care here. As the series follows the river, care of mini cachers should be taken and if your dogs like swimming then you are likely to get wet.

Ford Prefect appears to have lost his BableFish and has noted down the co-ordinates to his location in a different language . Or is this Vogan poetry? He is not as mixed up as Zephod hence the lower difficulty rating.
