...with the sound of HIGHWAY TRAFFIC!?!?!?
160 years ago there was no highway. Only the sound of quarrymen digging up large chunks of granite using tools that seem primative compared to what was used when the quarry closed in 1960.
This cache will require about 150 ft of light bushwacking into the site of one of the original quarries. Best access is from the Old Motion Loop trail (red diamond).
When you reach ground zero you will find remnants of a bygone era. There is what appears to be an old stone foundation perhaps from one of the quarry buildings.
I know, I hate micros in the woods too. I wasn't originally going to place a cache here but when I decided to, this was the only container I had. If you use the hint it wont be too bad.
