A small "35mm" pot located close to Top Tor and Rippon Tor
Placed in a spot that I remember as a child when I used to go Letterboxing on Dartmoor. The Ammo box has long since gone, but the hiding place still remains and allows for placement.
The weather at time of placing was how I remember it too... wet, windy and cant decide whether to let the sun shine through or not.
There is a waypoint provided for a single parking spot, you may want to check google maps for other parking areas nearby, there are plenty
Haytor Centre provides a visitors building and WC facilities. Two car parks in area have refreshment facilities
Thankyou to my daughter who joined me in placing this, she is 6 and had also joined me in finding some caches in the area which she enjoyed, except the bit where she tripped and almost landed in some cow droppings.
Even though this is far from urban, ill put it anyway.. This cache meets the GAGB Urban Placement Guidelines, but also adheres to the Dartmoor National Park code of conduct for Letterboxing
