The sixth Cache in a series surrounding the most infamous and difficult ski route in the world - the Streif
Die Seidlalm markiert die Mitte der Streif-Abfahrt. Hier springen die Athleten über 40 Meter weit bei einer Geschwindigkeit von 90 km/h.
Hier wurde ausserdem 1966 die Idee geboren in Kitzbühel einen Ski Weltcup zu veranstalten.
The Seidlalm marks the midway point of the Streif downhill skiing course. At this point the athletes jump over 40 meters (88 feet) at a speed of 90 km/h (55 MPH).
It was here, in 1966, that the idea to stage a Ski worldcup in Kitzbuehel was born.
