Geocache Description:

This medium pelican box is placed along the Chatham Rail Trail portion of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Extending for 22 miles, the trail travels through Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet.

This cache is placed near the intersection of the Chatham Rail Trail and the Volunteer Park hiking paths (which are serene and worth walking). I placed this one because everywhere one travels in Chatham - a micro! (nano actually). The kiddies are sometimes disappointed because they love to find all kinds of swag. So I obliged - a brand-new pelican box with swag for the kiddies!

The find should be rather simple, however, I must warn that there are several small patches of poison ivy scattered about (the cache is about 50' off the hiking trail, the hiking trail connects to the rail trail within 80' of the cache, see waypoint). Now about the poison ivy, you're not worried about it, are you? You'd do anything for a cache after all, right?

Please be sure to conceal the cache as you should have found it. This light concealment should keep it muggle free for many years.

If you're not familiar with pelican boxes, it is large enough for most travel bugs - so bring them for a visit!
