Calling all Cowboys and Cowgirls!!!!
Those pesky members of the Trash Bandit Gang have gone and done it
again. They have gone and junked up our beloved Alamo Wash!!! So
the local geocache-lawmen have asked
for any and all assistance in rounding up this gang on Friday, August 5th 2011 at 4:30 p.m.
(Yes that’s right this CITO is in the
afternoon!)
A raffle to distribute rewards amongst the participants will follow
the round up along with the Passing of the Bull! All geo-cowboys
and cowgirls of any age are welcome, as well has your trusty
hunting dogs! All the gear for this round up will be supplied
(Grabbers and gloves generously brought by Shadow-Ace and Crew) as
well as a plentiful supply of cold water, however anyone may bring
anything the deem necessary for this
round up. (Sunscreen, hats, their own gloves, their own water,
lasso ect…)
Now…
For those who don’t know, here is a little history on this
CITO. On March 25, 2006 geocachers from
all over Southern Arizona met for the first time to take on the
duties of cleaning the Grant Road to Pima Street section of the
Alamo Wash. On September 9, 2006 the group was officially
recognized through Tucson Clean and
Beautiful as having adopted the wash and a sign was
erected to let the public know.
Now you are called to attend the 31st Alamo Wash
CITO!!!
So jump in those covered wagons and head on down to the above
coordinates on Friday, August
5th 2011at 4:30 p.m.
