The raincoat below the cache has been very lonely. I expect
that this cache will suffer the same fate. Entomophile and I talked
about placing a cache out here years ago. As with many of our plans
it did not develop into reality. I decided to get the ball rolling
by placing the first cache on this tract.
I know of two ways to access the area without:
a) bushwhacking
b) illegally crossing the partially removed bridge north of the
tract
c) crossing private property to the south
One way is to head south from “Starkey Lost” GCMBBV
. This route does require a river crossing. Water depth varies
depending on rainfall. The other is to follow the boundary fence
from the area of “Forest of Tranquility” GC26AGQ
for about 2 miles to access a bridge on the south side of the
tract.
The cache is small, log only, but I tried to make it obvious.
It is just above your head unless you are very tall.
