Plymouth's First Book Cache!
Thanks to Tojoma for showing us this very cool area!
Here are some directions to the Conservation land! Be sure to do Tojoma's other caches while you're here :)
Long Pond Road south at exit 5 from Rte 3.
Two tenths of a mile past Boot Pond Road and the parking lot for the Eel River Preserve there is a white mail box on the left at 204 Long Pond Road. You can park near the mail box or drive down the dirt road and park in one of the openings.
We decided to do a totally different type of cache, the idea stolen from a cache we found in Alaska! Here's how it works:
You bring along a book or 2 with you for the cache that you don't want (don't go and buy one or anything like that) You can then drop off the book in our cache for another cacher to find!
We ask that if you drop a book, then you should take a book and vise versa. Now of course if there isn't something that sparks your interest feel free to just leave one if you want. On the flip side feel free to take one even if you forget to bring one...
The cache you're looking for is a large ammo box which right now contains 4 books (We meant to jot the names down but there is an Anthony Bourdain Book, Homer Hickam and 2 others) There should be room for a few more.
For whatever reason the cache starts to fill up too much, feel free to let us know and we can come empty it out some.
Also feel free to drop any kinds of books (appropriate at least) Kid books never hurt of course!
