Geocache Description:

Cache is located at a beautiful area overlooking the mouth of the Bellamy River, Little Bay, and the Scammell and General Sullivan bridges.

*To access this cache, use the stairs and find the cache from the beach level. DON'T walk down the side of the hill, as it is very steep and will cause erosion.*

*Please leave the cap attached to the tree and just remove the base to sign the log. Then replace the cache EXACTLY as found.*

Cache is a micro-sized pill bottle covered in ammo duct tape. Please re-seal logbook in the bag after you use it, and be sure to close the cache as this spot may be wet at times. The easiest way to reach this cache is to go down the stairs and walk along the water to the GZ. Please leave the cover attached when taking the container off to sign the log.

Cedar Point is located at the convergence of three historic seacoast towns: Madbury, Durham, and Dover (granite pillar nearby cache marks the boarder of the three towns). This point gives a spectacular view of many popular seacoast landmarks such as Little Bay, Bellamy River, Goat Island, the General Sullivan Bridge, and Newick's Lobster House! Cedar Point itself is connected to Dover Point by the Alexander Scammell Bridge, a popular striped bass fishing area. See green sign for historic information about Alexander Scammell.

Original cache contents include a "Write-In-The-Rain" waterproof logbook, pen, pencil, Center for Wildlife window decal, Smuttynose bottle-opener, Kayak travel bug, and a $5 Newick's giftcard for FTF. Good luck and enjoy the beautiful view and wildlife!

Congrats Batlin for FTF!!
