Sherwoodin metsä on tuttu meille kaikille. Mutta kuinka moni tiesi, että se sijaitsee Lahdessa? Lapsuusvuosien metsä oli milloin mikäkin, mutta parhaiten mieleen se on jäänyt Sherwoodin metsänä. Robin Hood ja iloiset veikot viettivät täällä paljon aikaa mukanaan Marian-neito. Rikkailta vietiin köyhille ja saaliit piilotettiin metsän sopukoihin. Piilopaikkoja oli monia ja näin ollen vuosia sitten piilotettuja aarteita saattaa vielä löytää. Tai sitten on mahdollista löytää hieman modernimpia aarteita.
Parkkipaikkaa Sherwoodin metsästä on turha etsiä, ellet sitten ole hevosella liikenteessä. Lähin ja paras paikka jättää auto, on Launeen koulun piha. Kätkö on silti lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä.
Sherwoodin metsä sopii koko perheelle, tosin kätkön lähellä kannattaa kaikkien Robin Hoodien katsoa, minne astuu.
Oletko valmis haasteeseen? Sitten ei muuta kuin jousipyssy olalle ja katsomaan, vieläkö Robin Hood on voimissaan!
Ja niihin koloihin kannattaa ensin KATSOA, sitten vasta työntää käsi. Paikalla on todella paljon lasinsiruja ym. roskaa, että ollaanhan varovaisia siellä!

We all know the Sherwood Forest. But how many of you knew that it is located in Lahti? The childhood forest was almost anything you can imagine, but the best memory is, when it was the Sherwood Forest. Robin Hood and the Merry men spent a lot of time here. Maid Marian was also with them. They took from the rich and gave to the poor, and some treasures they hid in the forest. There were many hiding places, so it is possible that you might still find some hidden treasures. Or it might be possible to find more modern treasures.
There is no parking available in the Sherwood Forest unless you are travelling with a horse. The nearest and the best place to park your car is the parking lot of Laune school.
Sherwood Forest is suitable for families, altough near the cache every Robin Hood should watch their step.

LOOK before you put your hand anywhere. There is lot of broken glass and other rubbish, so be careful out there!
