An easy traditional in an obvious place.
The Avenue is one of two main roads through the Mount Buller Alpine Village.
It rises up a moderate hill and veers to the left to finish at the end of the village on the south side of the Bourke St ski run, just above the Standard run.
The cache should be an easy find.
In winter, between the Queens Birthday weekend and the end of the Ski season in September visitors cars cannot be driven into the village and you'll need to park lower down and catch the taxis or a bus. In the village free shuttle buses run every ten minutes along all the roads.
Outside these times you'll be able to drive straight to the cache.
It's a small Super Lock container of about 250 ml.
