Monthly Mid-Week Bash in Berkshire #8
on Tuesday, September the 06th, 2011 @
The Swan Public House
Three Mile Cross
Reading,
Berkshire
RG7 1AT
The Pub is Family & geo Dog friendley
and it is a nice area if you fancy a evening stroll or just relax in the beer garden (weather permitting)
There's plenty of off road parking at the pub.
we will be there for 19.00 (07.00) but feel free to turn up throughout the evening.
If you have never been to an event before you are very welcome and it would be lovely to meet you.
We hope to attract old and new cachers from Berkshire and surrounding areas. It's a great opportunity to match faces to all those names that you are familiar with in the logs and meet up with fellow cachers and share caching stories (or even pick up a few hints for those puzzles) over a glass or two.
There will be the normal opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins... just look for the much chased after pink ammo box.
Other monthly events in neighbouring counties.
See www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/event/index.html
The Berkshire events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire meets and is going to be held on the on the 1st week of every month
The meetings will be organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Berkshire.
We are looking for fresh volunteers to host events in different parts of the county.
There a few caches nearby and I may even try and get a few new out before then we will see.
(Please note these events do not affect the teddies cunning cachers who meet in The Swan, Station road, Thatcham Berkshire. Which meet on the second Tuesday of every month?)
