This cache presents you the Rukkovaara, a hill between the villages of Sotkuma and Sola.
[FIN] Rukkovaara on 146,2 metriä korkea vaara Rukkojärven rannalla. Vaaran päältä ja jyrkiltä kalliotörmiltä avautuu kauniit maisemat, etelän, lännen ja luoteen suuntaan. Vaara on karu ja kallioinen ja maasto sen ympäristössä on kuivaa kangasmaata ja alue on ollut ympäristön asukkaitten hyvää marjastus - ja sienestysaluetta kautta aikojen. Alueella on runsaasti ensimmäisen maailmansodan aikana venäläisten rakennuttamia maalinnoitteita.
1950-luvulla vaaran päällä oli pieni mökki. Se paloi talvella 1958. Tulipalo näkyi linnuntietä neljän kilometrin päässä olevaan kotiini ja pelotti valtavasti, että jos tuli leviää meille asti.
Maiseman esittely on tällä purkilla pääasia ja siksi toteutus on perinteistäkin perinteisempi, ei kuitenkaan xvira nyyn. Kätkö on niin helppo, että annan siitä löytötakuun. [ENG] Rukkovaara is 146,2 m high hill on the beach of Rukkojärvi. From the hill and from the crags you can see nice scenes in the west and in the northwest. The hill is stark and there is a lot of cliffs, the terrain around it is dry peaty forest. Local people have always picked berries and mushrooms from the forest. There are also a lot of bunkers and trenches built by the Russians during the first worldwar.
In the nineteenhudredfifties there was a little cottage on the hill. In the winter 1958 it perished in a fire. We saw the fire from the window of my home (the distance is 4 km) and I remember that I was afraid if the fire comes and burns our home also.
The scene is the main point in this cache and therefore the completion is more traditional than traditional, still not “under the stone”. The cache is so easy that I give you a findingquarantee. When you are quite near the cache (about 10-20 m) you will find it in five minutes. If you don’t find it in that time, I continue your quranteetime 5 minutes so many times that you finally find it.
You can hike to the top along the trail of a foresttractor, it begins from the parkingplace.
