Rail ride # 8: Wetlands
For as long as I can recall this area was in fact a bowling club. We noticed signs looking to draw in new members. All ages welcome it stated! But there were no new members joining and in 2008 the end came with the green being demolished to make way for an extension of the Glen Iris Wetlands. The transformation was completed in 2009 with a bridge, native plants, a modified bike track and more ponds for the ducks to enjoy. I don't think that Cr George Peperell had anything to do with this but I'm sure he would approve. ;-)
The cache you are seeking is a micro with only room for a log and is again designed to blend into the landscape.

Appreciate your care replacing the log as I too have dropped it once when placing this cache.
