Herttoniemen liikuntapuisto tarjoaa mahdollisuuden monenlaiseen liikkumiseen, luistelusta mäkihyppyyn ja tenniksestä maastojuoksuun.
Alueella on jalkapallokenttä, n. 1 km pururata, 400 metrin juoksurata ja tenniskentät. Talvisin alueella on jääkiekkokaukalo, luistelukenttä, laskettulurinne, 1-5 km ladut.
Alkupisteellä näet rakennuksen, joka on joskus toiminut kahviona. Laske rakennuksen ikkunat (a) ja ikkunaruudut (b). Ovessa olevaa ikkunaa ei huomioida.

Herttoniemen urheilupuiston rakennustöiden alkaessa 1954 paikalta löydettiin yksi Suomesta tähän mennessä löydetyistä kymmenestä mammutinluusta. Olkaluulla on ikää n. 19 000 vuotta.
