KMCLARK: I'm going to archive this one. After adopting it, I replaced it, and it promptly went missing again. I think I agree with a previous post that speculated there was a home owner nearby that did not want a geocache nearby. Entering and exiting GZ is visible to a number of homes across the street.

Geocache Description:

A water tight lock lock box, located next to the boat ramp at the parking lot on Sturgiss Rd. Inside are a bunch of items and a small FTF prize!

While caching we came across this real nice pond, well lake if you really look at it. Then we realized where we were. When we were little our step father took us fishing here on many trips. For those who know this place, it was very popular for trout fishing. We used to stay by the "Pines" and light a campfire at the early hours of the morning. It was really surreal. So we spent sometime walking around and reminiscing about the past. So before we left we needed to plant our own cache.
