Geocache Description:

Rail ride # 10: Blue ribbon seats

From this point on the rail ride becomes a suspended track under the freeway and passes some of Melbournes most exclusive schools. The track is then dominated by our much loved river, The Yarra (Or maybe not so loved?). The railway line is never far away but the track now weaves along the side of the river and so the journey has a totally different atmosphere.

The imposing Toorak mansions across the river have had my interest for years and highlight the old money that built Melbourne in the goldrush of the 1880's. The demographer Bernard Salt states that Toorak remains the highest density of wealth in one suburb in Australia.

Please note that I did not have the benefit of the highly accurate GPS I have been using in this series, so the readings on this cache will not be as sharp. This should make no difference as thinking like a cacher will make this a fast find. The first five cachers are welcome to post their readings and I will average them out and edit the listing.

The cache is a narrow micro and again there is no room for a pen.

Good luck!

Congratulaions to SirJ Oz for his FTF during a sneaky lunch hour escape!

After much cache congestion this one is finally published. Congrats to all the cachers who have been hunting this series and for your helpful feedback. Cheers.
