Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of five caches inspired by Star Wars film saga. Each cache challenges you in a spirit of the Trials of Knighthood in the Old Jedi Order. In order to complete the trials you have to find and log all five caches, last one being a mystery cache the Trial of Insight. Each cache container includes a hint which is essential for you when solving the mystery. Hint is attached to the logbook, do not remove it nor take it with you!

In Star Wars passing the trials was prerequisite to all Jedi Padawans in order to achieve Jedi Knighthood. The trials were administered by the Jedi High Council to any Padawan they deemed worthy of becoming a Jedi. The five trials were the Trial of Skill, the Trial of Courage, the Trial of the Flesh, the Trial of the Spirit and the Trial of Insight.

Your trials will be guided by Grand Master Yoda, so listen carefully to his words of advice.

Trial of the Flesh
In the old Jedi Order the Trial of the Flesh was the most trying test involving the apprentice overcoming great physical pain, hardship, or loss, the test sometimes resulted in death or dismemberment.

Your test will not be life threatening but you are advised to use special caution when looking for the phases and the cache especially if the rocks are wet or snowy. Be prepared that some sweatshed will occur during your performance! Your opponent will be time, hurry to make it less than one hour starting from the given trailhead and back to the same location (you will not get punished though, if you don't make it ;)). You have three stages to find to complete your Trial of the Flesh.

Yoda's words of advice: "If you end your training now, if you choose the quick and easy path, you will become an agent of evil."
