For our third series we decided to do something for the children (old and young alike) as we have 2 geokids.
Hence there are a fair few caches large enough for swappables and all the micros have a question in each that hopefully the children will be able to answer, I must admit that a couple of them they set I did not know, but then I do not watch childrens TV (I'm too busy caching)
There are 21 traditional caches consisting of 15 micros (so please bring your own pencil/pen) and 7 small caches for swaps and TBs, and one final bonus cache (Regular). There are also some other caches you may want to do on the way around (GC2Z956 and GC186PM and a bit further out GC1VDPR)
In each of the 15 micros there is a question (set by the Geokids) that you will need to answer in order to work out the co-ordinates for the Bonus cache.
The total length of the series is about 5 miles / 8 km.
The start of the series is along Froggetts Lane which is a quite country lane, with a reasonable verge for most of the distance along it, but please do look out for children and dogs with you.
Some of the paths can get muddy if wet (one section even has a sign warning of deep mud, although when setting the series in September the path was fine) so please wear appropriate footwear if wet.
Please do not drive along any private roads to get these caches.
The terrain is for the whole series whereas the difficulty is for this cache only. The attributes given are also for the series as a whole.
The cache is not at the published co-ordinates, but you may wish to visit them before or after doing the series
