There are miles and miles of Flood Control Channels in the OC. For most of the year, they tend to breed mosquitoes and gather trash. But a few days out of each year, they control thousands of cubic feet of rainfall. People usually do not notice them but when they are running full, they gather an audience.
This cache is very simple, should not be a problem for anyone. You will need to park in the nearby neighborhood and walk about 100 yards. If you look carefully, you might spy some wildlife living in the channel.
