There are now 10,000 active caches in
Massachusetts.
Background
I have been watching the number of active caches in Mass grow
faster and faster over the past few years. Placing of the first
1000 caches took about 3 years and 5 months, the next about 1 year
4 months. Now it is taking less than 6 months for each 1000 new
caches to be placed in Massachusetts. Although there have been
thousands of caches in Massachusetts archived, there are more being
place every day. This cache celebrates all those placed and all
those who have placed caches in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts.
The Final
Getting to the final will provide you a nice walk in the
wilderness. As you look at it on Google maps you will see a large
parking lot about half a mile west of the cache. That provides an
easy walk in the woods. You may also see a cul-de-sac 1/10 a mile
from the cache. Try it if you want, but there is a bog in between
the two. I tried and ended up sinking up to my knees.
The final container is a 5 gallon camouflage bucket I found on one
of my wanderings. It is hidden but not hard to find once you get
within 20 feet of it. There is a lock-n-lock inside that holds the
logbook and small swag. I put a couple larger items in the bucket
as well. There is also a $10.000 DnD gift card for the FTF.
