"Beggar's Night", is New Hampshire's equivalent to Halloween Night here in Maine.
Children trick or treat the night BEFORE Halloween- dubbed "Beggar's Night".
Making it possible for children,(who live by the state line), TWO nights of pure fun!
Beggar's Night & Halloween Night were always awesome in my family! My cousins lived in Rochester, & my family in Springvale. All The kids got to pick 2 costumes, and enjoy themselves two nights! Some might call it gluttony, but to kids it was pure heaven!
