This cache is a Lock N Lock filled with small trading items. Why is this called a "Yellow Streak" Cache?
Well, The tree at the coord was painted bright YELLOW. Captain Black Tooth was called "Yellow" (A coward!) when he backed down and did not fight on the mighty Huron River against the French and Chief Pontiac back in the fall of 1807. The camp here was one of Captain's BlackTooths largest! There was plenty of wildlife around and apple, pear, trees to the north. He had a huge cache of rum stored here. He liked this spot!
The French painted this tree and hundreds around it with Yellow Streaks. Just to intimidate the pirate! BlackTooth, in the next few weeks, he painted over the yellow streaks to "Purple". (His favorite Color!) To this day, if you look in the Milford area you will find LOTS of trees with a "Purple Streaks" marked on them! Not many of the townspeople know why, or the history behind them. Now you do!
The cache is a Small Lock N Lock.
