The Legend of Two Lovers Point tells of two young lovers who, forbidden from being together in life, leaped to their deaths from the cliffside so they could be together in eternity.
Guam is a tropical island with many things to do and see. You'll either find you're here because of the military (which as a reservist is how I made it here) or you just decided to come for a vacation. Either way - get out and enjoy the island and all it has to offer, like scuba diving and snorkling the beautiful coral reefs (please use the buddy-system), shopping at the duty free stores at the Micronesia Mall or the Guam Premium Outlet (GPO), or going on a Boonie Stomp (hiking trip) to many interesting places on the island like caves, historic battlefields and hidden waterfalls. Don't forget to head on down to the Chamorro Village on Wednesday nights (which is the best time to go because they also have crafters selling their goods) and try the local food!
Note: On May 24, 2023, Typhoon Mawar damaged the Two Lovers Statue at Two Lovers Point. It is currently being repaired and will go back on display at a future date. Until that time, a photo taken with yourself or your group anywhere on the grounds with Two Lovers Point in the background will be your logging task.
