The Discovery Channel has a lot of interesting documentary programs that I like. One of my favorites is the reality based series about extreme fishing called Swords. This dynamic show is in its third season on cable television and has rapidly become a very serious challenger to "The Deadliest Cache." The series has several sea captains fishing off the rugged New England seacoast for swordfish. Seasoned crews provide an array of endless scenarios that reminds me of The Perfect Storm. Four experienced, salty captains round out the cast of characters. The drama starts when each boat heads out onto the water and it intensifies once they hit the open ocean. The weather, the water and the personalities provide an ideal combination for an entertaining evening. You must check it out!
