The chart at the end describes 16 ways that “16” appears in music, geometry, history, sports, everyday life, and other areas. At the posted coordinates, you will find a copper tag with a word or phrase. Match that to one of the descriptions in the chart and then perform the specified action to get the location of the next waypoint.
How can a 16 point multi be short? The tags are within a very small area. Most tags are physically close to another tag, some as close as 30m. Keep your eyes open, look around, and you should be able to skip several tags. In fact, I believe that it’s possible to find the cache by visiting as few as 4 tags.
Keep in mind:
- This cache is designed to be easy and quick.
- This cache is ideal for groups. The more eyes to look, the faster you’ll find the cache.
- All tags have a co-located reflective tack, on the opposite side of the tree, so the cache very night friendly. In fact, it’s probably easier to do at night.
- The tags and the cache are all inside the small parcel of NCC land that contains the posted coordinates. There is no need to cross any road.
- The tags are numbered in the order they are designed to be found by starting at the posted coordinates and following all the actions through to the cache.
- Tags are either about eye level on tree trunks, or near the top of fence posts.
- The total distance, parking to parking, is between 750m and 2km.
- The distance between tags varies between 30m and 260m.
Why "Beach Party"? The ‘beach’ around which this cache is placed is an inland sand dune. Although there’s no water here, it is rather beach-like. You may see some signs of clean up. For information, follow this link.
