We have a dog named Worf. Yes Worf. He doesn't look much like a Klingon, though. He looks more like he has dreadlocks because, well, his breed is pretty high maintenance.

From the AKC site : "Its trademark is its beautiful, profuse coat, but the intelligent and agile (DOG) can easily complete any demanding task asked of him by a shepherd or drover. Square in build and possessing great strength, the (DOG) enjoys working and is seen in the conformation, obedience, agility and herding rings today with their characteristic shuffling gait. His coat, which serves as insulation, can be any shade of gray, grizzle, blue or blue merle with or without white markings.

To solve the puzzle, once you identify the breed:

N43° AB.C2D
W 071° EF.0GH

AB = Minimum height at the shoulders x2 (times two)
CD - Last number of year first recognized as a breed by the AKC
EF = Minimum height at the shoulders
GH = "In the early (HG)th century a bobtailed drovers dog, called the Smithfield or Cotswold Cor, was noticed in the southwestern counties of England and may have been an ancestor"

(solutions found at both the AKC webpage for the breed and wikipedia)
