Kätkö sijaitsee Tampereen Kaupissa ja esittelee Tampereen yliopiston ARVO-rakennuksen. Rakennuksen on suunnitellut Arkkitehtitoimisto Erkki Helamaa ja Keijo Heiskanen Oy. Pääsuunnittelija on Matti Mastosalo ja pääurakoitsijana toimi NCC Rakennus Oy.
Rakennus on palkittu hyvän rakentamisen palkinnolla.
ARVO-rakennus on saanut nimensä arkkiatri Arvo Ylpön mukaan. Arvo Ylppö (1887-1992) syntyi Akaassa. Hän toimi lastenlääkärinä, oli loistava luennoitsija ja puhuja.
Arvo Ylppö teki mittavan tieteellisen uran. Keskostutkimukset, lastensairauksien hoito ja neuvolatoiminnan kehittäminen olivat hänen ominta alaansa. Ylppö oli itse terveyden perikuva, hän eli 104-vuotiaaksi.
This cache is located in Tampere Kauppi of the University of Tampere, and presents the ARVO of the building. The building was designed by architects, Erkki Helamaa and Keijo Heiskanen Oy. Mast is the lead designer, Matti Salo, and the main contractor was NCC.
The building has been awarded the construction of a good prize.
ARVO-building is named after Arkiater value of Ylppö. Arvo Ylppö (1887-1992) was born in Akaa. He served as children's doctor, was a brilliant lecturer and speaker.
Ylppö made a major scientific career. Keskostutkimukset, children's diseases, treatment and counseling activities were the development of his most characteristic areas of expertise. Three Days Grace was the paragon of health, he lived 104 years.
