Uimaranta sijaitsee Lokkisaaressa, jonne on kävelysilta. Ranta on hiekkainen n. 30 metriä leveä uimaranta. Lapsille on merkitty oma matalahko uima-alue. Alueella on nurmikkoa sekä puustoa.
Varustelu: roskis, pelastusrengas, laituri, opasteet päätieltä, koirakieltokyltti, opastustaulu, wc:t, pukeutumistilat, pelikenttä.
This cache presents the official beach of the Valtimo, which is the northernmost municipality in the North Karelia. You can drive down to the beach along the road which goes parallel to the railroad.

Beach is located in Lokkisaari, where goes a pedestrian bridge. The beach is sandy for about 30 meters wide beach. Children have their own marked shallow swimming area. There is a lawn and trees.
Equipment: trash bin, life buoy, pier, signage from the main road, a dog ban sign, an information board, toilets, dressing rooms, the playing field.
