Geocache Description:

This cache will be a hike! Don't expect it to be a quick find!

This cache is located at the Indian Tie-Up. You can access it by Liberty Hill Road in Bradford, NH (see New Hampsha' for Damn Sha! cache for the start of Liberty Hill Road). You CANNOT drive down Liberty Hill Road, so park at the end and walk in (about 1 mile to the trail head).

The cache is located on the side of a 1300' un-named hill. Here you will find HUGE ledges that the Indians used for their winter encampment after they had spent their summer at Lake Massasecum.

Please use extreme caution when going for this cache. There are unmarked trails (probably resulting from past loggers) that you can use to get yourself somewhat to the cache. When I placed this cache, I did see a bull moose, so be careful during moose rutting season! (Click here for more information about rutting season).

Again, there are no marked trails that will get you to this cache. You are simply walking into the woods along trails at times and up a hill to find it. But when you get there, the ledges are amazing! It is awesome to think how other cultures and types of people lived!

Please view all the waypoints on the map, and see which way you would like to go! I have provided waypoints for the direction I took to the cache (up and over the 1300' hill...which gives you a great view from the top) and waypoints for an easier way in (but where I saw the moose).
Also, be careful during hunting season, because I did notice some shotgun shells littered about on the ground more near the road.

Congratulations to Marshtroll for FTF! I know you enjoy the history as much as I do!
