Geocache Description:

Very easy cache to find. A wonderful place to spend a half day or a day, but it will have a great impact on you.

To claim the find please attach a photo of the location or e-mail me what is on the ceiling of the top dome of the exhibit.

This is a site shown to me by my wife. Her grandfather died during WWII fighting the Germans and this is a place dedicated to all those who have fought in defense of their country.
I would really recommend having a translator for here. There is so much to understand, or the impact and importance of some of the details will be lost on you.

After seeing this place I had to spend some time digesting what I saw and what it means. The Ukrainians don't sugar coat or romanticize their history. It's rather brutal and up front.
I plan on adding some real caches as soon as I can get back.

We have discovered some wonderful spots that a tourist would not know about (my wife is from Kiev).

BTY I was worried about GPS in the country. But friends of mine who are in the police and military have assured me it's OK. And I did take it once and declaired it to their customs and there was no problem.
