Geocache Description:

In the trees of Jack London State Park, about 50 feet due west of the latitude and longitude indicated.

This is a good one to log when you go after the Orchard cache which son William (8) and I placed last year. This time, William and I were accompanied by his sister, Kate (4) on her first geocache hike.

The cache is in an olive drab ammo box and contains some stickers and toys that William and Kate selected from their ample supplies, along with some wine corks, a fishing float and line and other items I threw in.

Because the cache is in pretty dense foliage, I could not get a good GPS signal, ao took the reading from an open area nearby. Stand at the latitude and longitude indicated and walk west into the forest. The area of the cache is visible in the accompanying photo.

If you get to the creek, you went too far.
