Find the old fortress on the island. Follow all the way up to the lighthouse and keep going. Terrain is a bit jungley, so wear shoes and perhaps long trousers.
The cache is a tin consisting a small survival-kit and a message! It's easy to find the spot in general on the island, when you're not a donkey - but finding the cache at the spot is quite tricky. Just think where you would hide it...
