Español: El letterboxing es una actividad más antigua que el geocaching, sus orígenes se remonta a 1854, en Dartmoor, Inglaterra. Consiste en la búsqueda de tesoros mediante el uso de pistas para lograr la localización del letterbox. Los letterbox hybrid requieren una serie de requisitos que no necesitan los letterbox: La busqueda de un letterbox hybrid requiere tambien el uso del GPS en algún momento, digamos que es parecido a un multicache. Se combinan elementos de orientación, un poco de imaginación, un poco de misterio y al final encontrar el objetivo. Los letterbox hybrid llevan en su interior dos elementos fundamentales: un libro de visitas "stampbook" donde solo estampar vuestro sello de visitante y un sello de goma para estemparlo en vuestra libreta, ademas del logbook que todos conocemos en el que estampar el registro con nuestro nik. Muy importante, tanto el sello de goma que hay en el cache, como los dos libros de registro siempre se quedarán en el contenedor, gracias. El resto de normas son las de cualquier otro cache. Es muy importante que el sello de caucho y los dos libros de registro se queden en el cache, gracias.
En este caso necesitaremos también una brújula, una libreta y un mapa para buscar algún rumbo.
El cache.
La 1ª pista la encontraremos en la localidad de Cabanes, en el centro de su plaza mayor hay una fuente en la que figura una inscripción con un año en concreto, anotar el año, lo necesitareis mas tarde. Desde aquí tomar la carretera CV-146 en dirección a La Ribera de Cabanes.
La 2ª pista esta en la entrada de un camino asfaltado, dentro de un contenedor tipo " petling" en las coordenadas N40º09.609 E000º04.389
Si estas en el camino correcto, en el Km 2,8 a la derecha hay un largo objeto metálico y en su base, un pequeño rotulo con el nombre de una masía de la zona.
La 3ª pista es fácil de encontrar, en el interior de un contenedor tipo "petling". Desde aquí, tomaras rumbo 99ºE.
En el Km 5,1 esta el Mas d'Enqueixa, lugar donde nació mi esposa.
Un poco mas adelante, buscaremos las coordenadas que pertenecen a la 4ª y ultima pista, ya estas muy cerca, espero que os haya gustado la navegación.
El contenedor es un recipiente de 1 litro aproximadamente, en su interior encontraras:
-Algunos objetos para intercambio.
-Un loogbook para registrarte.
Para los jugadores de letterbox encontrareis también un stampbook para estampar vuestro sello y un sello de goma para estamparlo en vuestra libreta
