Geocache Description:

BeeMagnets description of a Winter Friendly Cache - "Plenty of parking and NOT buried in the SNOW!!"

In days gone by I remember Holland Rink, a section of Green Hill Park, with a pond for swim meets, an archery range, a community house, and a bowling green. It was part of the park taken for the construction of I-290 where it crosses Lincoln Street. Worcester's annual fourth of July fireworks display was launched from the Holland Rink area, and viewed by thousands sitting on the slope of the hill leading up to the golf course. Now stands a basketball court, a ballfield and some swings for neighborhood children to still enjoy.

You can park at the end of a side street to seek this cache. I suggest Yak Tracks or Snowshoes when the park is covered with snow (ice is underneath in some areas).

Please replace the container securely and discreetly as found. Thanx.

A FTF prize awaits. Happy caching. BYOP

Congratulations to "Ripton" for FTF.
