When finding this cache you are looking at one of the Largest Manufacturing Plants in the United States! This massive plant has 4,200,000 Square Feet!! Over a mile wide and a mile long. On 280 Acres. It has 16 train sidings and 86 truck doors! It's police force was larger than the Cities of Wixom and Novi combined! It was so large that it had three cafeterias inside for it's workers that ran around the clock. ! In boom times this plant was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Top production was 5500 Cars/ Month !! A great number! Heavy equipment was brought to this plant by CH47 Chinook Helicopters. The equipment was so large and heavy it would not fit on trucks or trains! This site is on the National War Facility List. If a war emergency is declared, this site would be active in making war equipment and armaments at a very quick pace.
Right now it is just part of the Modern Ghost Town series.
The cache is a small round container that I won at a Harrison Event a year ago. This cache is not in any landscaping bushes.
