Geocache Description:

Wandering Heroes - Southern Cross Caching & Schatzsuche1

This cache is adding some more great geocachers that we have had the pleasure to meet.


I first met Shane at work when he approached me after finding out we both have an interest with Geocaching.

Since then the Parrots have gone on to become firm friends and watch Shatzsuche1 come into his life.

Just one of many geocaching romances we have seen along our journey.

Schatzsuche1 will be know to many in the SA geocaching community as the cacher who does the face painting at xmas events but there is a group of us that have a special memory of her antics at one of the famous Posties parties.

With a willingness to throw himself into any geocaching adventure be it a night caching run, hiking the Flinders Ranges, or cimbing something ridiculous.

However some of our best times been out on a 4WD track and I am very lucky to have a great geocaching buddy like shane.
The cache is located on the Tailem Bend to Karoonda road. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.
