Start your hike through two local nature preserves to a well-off-trail, hidden location. Have no doubt: this will be a challenging find!
Start your hike at the end of Mechanics Street (the dirt road side) to the small parking area of the Janet & Tobey Dakin nature preserve in Amherst, MA. Follow the yellow blazes a short distance to a sharp left turn (yellow blazes continue). This winding, at times tricky side trail takes you into the Lyman preserve and deeper into the woods. Be prepared to continue well off trail to the hidden site at a rocky outcropping in the middle of "nowhere". Geocache is standard ammo box.
