A wonderful hike in Bolton's Vaughn Hills Conservation Area. You
are looking for a small lock and lock container.
Mike likes to hike. I just moved to the area and love all of the
hiking caches in the area but I can't get enough of a good thing so
I have decided to bring this series to Mass. These caches are
designed for you to get away from the car and enjoy a nice hike in
one of our many beautiful open areas. The point of these caches is
the journey to the cache, not the cache itself. They aren't meant
to be hard to find but they give you that extra reward while on the
trail.
This is a nice hike that has a little uphill but that depends upon
where you park. The trails are well marked with yellow triangles
throughout this area. The cache is located near one of these trails
overlooking a wetland. It is a nice spot with a nice view of the
water. I hope you enjoy! Trail maps can be found on the Bolton Conservation Commission's website. There
are several spot to park and I have included two.
