This is the first of the Highland Series of caches on a nice hiking/cross country skiing trail at the Highland Mountain Bike Park. It is dedicated to CJ7 in celebration of their 6000 find! My daughter learned to downhill ski at this mountain many years ago but now there is no longer mountain skiing but it is one of the countries best Mountain Bike Parks, operating in summer only. It is hidden away and I doubt many people know the opportunity offered here if you like to mountain bike downhill. Anyway they have given permission for caches to be placed on the hiking trail (not on the mountain). You park on the side of the road by the trail entrance or up the hill in their parking lot. Parking coordinates are for the trail head which is between two granite rocks. Parking: N43 24.459 W 071 33.316. The first cache is just a short walk in and is not too far off the main path. Coordinates for cache might not be right on but clue should help. If you have come to the first wooden bridge you have come too far. Little prize for FTF. Cache contains a pencil, small log book and trinkets to swap. Please re-hide the cache as you found it. Congratulations CJ7 on your 6000th find! You did it one cache at a time.
