This is one in a series of caches entitled "Take a Hike". There are no puzzles, no multi's, no challenging hides in this series; instead, what they share in common is a good hike in the woods, enjoyable in any season.
I have wanted to explore this area ever since I found the "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" cache, and this is now one of my favorite "Take a Hike" hikes! There are several starting points; I went in from the parking coords below. I was on a wide path and then found a wonderful, white paint-blazed trail that wound through woods and past ponds. Do be warned: this seems to be a very popular hunting area (I have only hiked in here on Sundays this fall, but I'd wear plenty of orange other days). Enjoy your hike!
