The Kids Cache
My boys wanted to place a cache of their own. We went to a place
nearby my "High
and Dry cache-GC2VDQR" and dropped one off. This one would
appeal more to kids as it is easy to find on the trail and contains
kid oriented stuff.
The cache is 4/10ths. of a mile north from Sandy Birch Rd. along
the Vermont Gas Systems pipeline right-of way. The right-of way is
commonly used for hiking as well as hunting during deer season. The
only restriction posted on the trail is that ATV's are not
allowed.
Please do not park such that you block the entrance; park on the
side of Sandy Birch Rd. and walk in. Coordinates for that spot are
provided below.
The boys would really appreciate it if you would take a
picture of you and your find to post if you are
able.
The cache is a 7.62 NATO ammo can; original contents
include:
-Logbook and pencil
-Stickers
-Matchbox cars
-An Avatar figure
-Dinosaur figures
-Small toy airplane
-Last, on our way in, we found a section of plastic gas pipe that
had been welded together laying in the road. Interesting to
study.
