I decided it was time to get a GPS Hunt stash located in the Eastern United States, so, spent my day off preparing one. I have placed one in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York State. It's located on public land.

Where: Datum WGS84 N 42 Degrees 40.088' W 77 Degrees 20.086'

UTM Coordinates: 18T 0308671 UTM 4726605

Stash: A .50 Cal Ammo box containing a log book, and a variety of "prizes" for those who find the stash.

All contents are enclosed in individual zip lock baggies, and the log book requests that all who take a prize also place something of interest in the stash. Additionally, in the log book this web site URL is listed as well as my e-mail address. Vistors are encouraged to leave a message in the log book and take a picture of themselves (Leave the camera in the stash)!

The stash has been mostly concealed w/ rocks, leaves, sticks, etc...

I suppose bushwacking to this stash may be possible however I caution the terrian is VERY rugged, hilly, etc... If you choose the best approach no dangerous terrain navigation is necesary

TB drop. A Tim Horton rim-lifter!
No coins or trackables to retrieve, though!

Came to Western New York today from Kingston, Ontario. Staying in Geneva, a very pretty town. Took the 33 km (20 mile) spin down to Middlesex and The Spot in order to seek this, the oldest cache in the east! Parked at the public parking area on Wolfanger Rd. after slowing down for five deer along the road. Nice hike down the trail, shortly after what looks like a torrential downpour, as the trail was slick and damp. Quite a noisy trail with the rapids chortling by on the north side of the ridge trail. Finally reached the GZ and didn't have much trouble finding this large ammo box cache. This is the oldest one I've found, number 2089. I left a Canadian TB, a roll-up-the-rim device for the Tim Hortons contests. I did see a Tim in Geneva; you guys could use this device around here too. SL, TFTC. Saw two more deer on the road on the way back out, and at least 30 more on neighbouring fields. Great adventure, and well worth the excursion from Geneva.
Cheers, Norshley, from London, Ontario, Canada.

One of my first caches and was definitely excited to find this really old cache! Unfortunately all the inventory that was claimed to be here wasn't. :-( I took all other trackables to place them in all different locations!

Found on a vacation with my Geobuddy Picht.

A few months ago this cache came to my attention as one of my TB's visited here. It left again pretty fast, but i deceided to visit the cache myself.

I dropped off a TB and a 315 coin that start here..
Also dropped a personal signaturepen.
