The Sunglass Cache is a gallon jar, covered with a white bag. It is hidden under a small rock ledge. Rocks with green and white Lichens are placed over it to conceal its location.
Park your car – take all valuable with you as break-ins are rare but remain a possibility.
Climbing not necessary. The Cache is located on dry-land. Walk down the dirt road to the ocean then scramble along the sharp rock coast line. ( Good shoes are recommended.)
You might want to picnic or snorkel after your find the Cache. Honolua Bay is a Marine Sanctuary. This is an excellent dive/snorkel site. The reef is good on both sides of the bay. Spinner dolphins can often be seen playing on the surface just outside the bay. Manta rays and spotted eagle rays are occasionally seen.
