The CAP-CAP Story Begins The POD just showed up one dark, foggy night. Everyone knew it was there, but nobody talked about it. Sometimes on a dare a teenager would poke it with a stick, but because of the noises it made when doing so, no-one tried to open it. No one in Leslie was THAT stupid. Then one sunny day, an out-of-towner on a bicycle with a GPS in hand stumbled across the oblong object. Not knowing any better, he turned the hatch. Startled at the comotion that ensued, he closed the hatch, but not quickly enough. Several creatures escaped, and the world as we know it was changed forever.
Speedy had been stuck in the pod for so long he was just waiting for his chance to get out of it. Speedy loved to go fast and one cold winter day the pod opened and out he went. He followed the human and saw they got into a large white pod with 2 hatches on each side. Speedy could hear a motor and he loved motors and going fast. Speedy hopped on a ball shaped thing on the back of the large white pod.
Speedy hung on for his life as the large white pod went from place to place. While hanging on to the ball on the end of the large white pod Speedy listened to what the 2 humans were saying. The one driving was Tinker Gnome and the other was Michdidi. The pod they were in was called a truck. Speedy stayed on the ball on the back of the truck until Tinker Gnome and Michdidi got to their home.
As the truck backed up a big door opened and Speedy could see that there were 2 more things that he learned were called cars. One was called a Mustang and Speedy heard it start up one day and he hopped on it for a ride. The Mustang had a roar to the sound of it's engine. Speedy loved riding on the Mustang but the other car in what he learned was call a garage was covered up and he could not see it. But he heard the humans talk about how fast it was and that they sometimes took it to the drag strip and raced it. Speedy wanted a ride on it. It is called a Fairlane but it would be stuck inside the garage with the big door all covered up until the weather warmed up and there was no chance of any more snow or ice for the season not until spring time. Speedy knew he had to stick around the area so that he could hop on the Fairlane and get a ride when the snow was all gone.
Speedy heard the humans talk about something called the Woodward Dream Cruise where there are thousands of muscle cars like the Fairlane cruising up and down a road called Woodward Ave in Detroit. Speedy had to wait so that he could hop on the Fairlane and take a ride to the Woodward Dream Cruise to see all the Muscle cars.
So Speedy found a spot not too far from the place the Fairlane was at so he could catch a ride on the Fairlane to this Woodward Dream Cruise. Winter friendly geocache
