I went out for a short hike today in order to fill in another day of my calendar and decided to place a few caches along the way. Some will be easy and some not so.
The difficulty levels are only accurate if no hint is used and the cache is placed back in the original location for the next cacher to find. While hints have been provided for all the caches, please be aware that a few of them will be spoilers as some of the narrower parts of the trails can be really busy with muggles. Hopefully, you will have as much fun as I did.
There is a great off-road parking spot at the intersection of Willowbrook Drive and Alpine Road with enough parking for anywhere from twelve - fifteen cars. Portola Valley can be a tough place to find temporary parking and I did not really come across any other suitable parking spots while on my hike. Even this parking spot can frequently become full at certain times of the day.
The trails and the parking location are only open from sunrise to sunset.
This cache is located on the Sweet Springs Trail. Please bring your own pen and a tweezers. There is no need to leave the trail.
