FS1: Connecticut Ave. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mitragorz: I hate to do this, but there just isn't any location nearby that fits the original feel of the cache. It's tough to archive your most-favorited cache.

The TB in the cache will be moved on.

Geocache Description:

1-3-5 Please remember these numbers! You'll need them to reach the cache!

One in a series of caches that I placed at the fishing spots me and my buddies used to try our luck at when we were kids. We called this spot "Connecticut Avenue." Our least-frequented fishing spot due to the limited area. The west side of the road offered a surprising amount of fish given how small the area is. The east side offered good fishing if you waded downstream... And ignored the leeches. There's supposed to be freshwater clams around here, but I've never found any. Then again I never looked... Even if I did, I don't this I'd eat anything, especially shellfish, from the Peconic River. The cache is a small Lock-And-Lock that holds a logbook and a pencil, and has room for smaller trade items / swag. For the FTF: A non-activated dog tag attached to two cat head-shaped bells. I picked it up in another cache and never activated it myself. Enjoy!
