Bandyrooster: On a cache maintenance run with birderchick. We hiked in to this one but it seems to be missings so I decided to archive it rather than replace it. Area is very overgrown and it's been years since the owner gave me permission to place it so I decided its better to say goodbye. Thanks to everyone who went in and found it over these past 4 or 5 years.

Geocache Description:

A small bison tube hidden in another container. No caching during deer hunting season.

This cache is just a short walk down a little trail from CG3C8QR (This Cache Needs a Post-a Note). Parking is at that cache. This cache is on private property but the owner has given permission and also was the one to suggest I put a cache in this general location. He and I never discussed night caching so I won't say no but I don't recommend it. He does keep an eye on cars coming down the road. He mentioned that he does hunt deer so I would say NO CACHING HERE DURING DEER HUNTING SEASON! Cache only has a log so bring along you pen. If you can hike in during winter the cache is winter friendly being up off the ground. You could snow shoe in. This is a fun cache when you find it so be sure to reach around when pulling out the actual bison tube. It's very easy to find when you are in the right location. Please take care when putting the cache back in place so it doesn't end up on the ground.
