DittosMom: Sadly, no more Native Plant Nursery. The good new is that a big, shiny new Science Center will soon rise to take its place.

Geocache Description:

A camoed pill bottle located in the California Native Plant Botany Garden at San Jose State University.

You DO NOT need to step on any plants or dirt, or turn over any rocks. BYOP. Location changed September 2012 to accommodate garden renovations.

The SJSU Botany Garden is one of a handful of green spaces in the city of San José dedicated to California's native plants. It contains 91 species of California native plants in 42 families. The Garden had its origins in the mid 1980s when a 4000-square-foot lawn outside Duncan Hall was cleared and converted to a home for native plants and a habitat for wildlife. The Garden has served as a natural laboratory for a number of courses at SJSU. This is a peaceful place on campus, and is unknown to most of the student body. Your search should be undisturbed even with lots of students present quite close by.
(This cache replaces a previous now archived cache, also located in the Botany Garden).
