Hårup Sande er den del af Silkeborg Nordskov, der afgrænses af Århus-Ringkøbingvejen, Skærbæk-bebyggelsen, golfbanen og bakkelandet op mod Hårup. Af navnet fremgår det, at det drejer sig om et tidligere flyvesandsområde. Det fremgår også af terrænets udseende i dag: området er en flad slette med lave sandrevler og spredte småklitter.
